    Hi Dave,

    I saw your bike at the mortimer yesterday, i only joined the forum a couple of weeks ago, so ive looked back through all your old threads etc, it is indeed a cracking looking bike, i would have had a chat with you if id had the chance.

    Your bike seemed to be going well in both races,

    I had a lovely day despite the weather, I better clean the bikes tonight, the challenger felt like it weighed 300lb at the end of greeves race 2.

      You mean you don't pressure wash your bike to within an inch of it's life after every race? Great for putting muck into wheel bearings!

        Dave's Old Thumper Project.....

        It was really nice hearing about this amazing bike again recently on here and being reminded of it....easily one of the finest Greeves specials I have ever seen.

        The engineering on this bike is truly superb in my opinion, and is a great credit to it's mega talented builder......only what we've all come to expect from Higgo.

        But that's why we call him The Prof on here.......

        Huge respect Dave, and a great thread for the forum too!
