Scramble near Oswestry

    I posted this photo on another forum ("Riders who raced Motocross when it was called Scrambling"). In the hope that someone would have more information. Didn't get much, but the consensus was that the leader is riding a road-registered Norton 500T.

    Many people commented on what a fantastic photo it is, including Tony Davis, himself a former Greeves works rider of course, and brother of the late Malcolm.

    I'll let you know if anything else comes up from that source.

      Norton 500T would make sense, a popular trials bike of the period, back then riders would use same bike for scrambles in the summer months, just change the tyres and remove silencer
