  • Villiers Carburetor

After discussion it would seem I have the wrong carburettor on my 1960 Scottish, 32A motor, I am therefore on the hunt for either an S25/2 or an
S25/5. These are all new to me having been brought up on a diet of AMAL.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

There is a new old stock S25 on eBay at the moment http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Villiers-S...item5b047afc14
This is an S25/3 the only difference being a /3 has cable operated choke, whereas the /2 has it rod operated. The /5 is bored out to 1" choke with no choke slide. Suitably jetted the /3 would be ok for the 32A you would just need to replace the main jet with a 140 (seller says its for a 4T twin which has 180 main jet) Pilot jet & needle are the same you would just have to adjust the needle set out from 1.94" to 1.85"
There is also another S25/6 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GREEVES-VI...item2a4250d7e7
/6 is bored out to 1" choke, fitted with choke slide operated by rod (as in pics) suitable for 32A & Starmaker engines.
