  • Dave Pink's Pathfinder.

As there is a lot of interest in Pathfinder models on the forum, I thought it might be helpful to post some pics I have of Dave Pink's superbly restored trials model for reference purposes.

I took these shots at the 2010 GRA AGM, and Dave explained that the tank he had was a bit too dented to restore effectively, so instead he had it painted in an Audi colour that gives a very close approximation to polished alloy! A really clever way round the problem I thought, and it looks great to me-nice one Dave!

Cracking restoration isn't it, and typical of Dave's high standards for all of his bikes.

    Brian.

An incredible restoration job Dave. It looks as if it had come straight from the factory. Better probably! Very very nice.

    David.

Dave sold the Pathfinder some months ago.

Whoever bought it got a superbly restored machine.

        Regards,
        David.

Dave sold the Pathfinder EHJ441H, frame No 59A103 to Martin Woodward 7/13 and he sold it to a Puch Museum in Austria in 4/15. The frame number is a duplicate to Scott Ellis's works bike HOO66H which is still around somewhere
