GRA Trial, Frensham, 28 April

Today saw the Greeves / twinshock trial take place at Frensham in Surrey, good fortune gave us a very sunny day and conditions turned out perfect for everyone who attended.
Organised by Kelvin Sparrowhawk on behalf of the GRA, and Clerk of the course Martin Kemp, the Trial attracted approx. 50 riders, of whom somewhere in the region of 20 plus riders were Greeves mounted. 12 sections of 4 laps were laid out on a small but very intresting area of land which did not cause any hold ups at all.

Sandy climbs, muddy, rutted areas, twisty climbs on leaf mould exposing roots, made it very interesting for all nothing too hard and dangerous, 3 routes catered for anybody who had never ridden off road, medium route for clubmen and a harder route for those who enjoy a challenge.

Dave Spurgeon lost two on the hard route and made it all look very easy, A great day out took place and not a moan from anyone as far as I know.

Thanking Martin again for getting the ground, and giving us a great day out, and Kelvin for the results and paperwork.
