Terrific Telford! Alan Wright’s Classic Offroad Show, held at the International Centre, Telford over the weekend 13/14th February more than lived up to expectations. The three exhibition halls were packed with machinery on display, club and trade stands together with assorted autojumble, not to mention various event organisers. For those heroic enough to brave the elements, there was also a carpark at the front of the buildings devoted to yet more autojumble.

New Greeves for Telford Richard Deal is again unveiling his latest 'new Greeves' at Alan Wright’s Telford Classic Off-road Show. This will be a heavily modified version of the bike revealed at the same event last year.

Website update and new look A complete redesign of the GRA website is almost complete, and the new look should be evident. Other less obvious changes will allow the website to be updated on a much more regular basis. Some parts of the site require finishing touches, including our new forum message board which will provide a much-needed replacement for the guestbook (which will be archived shortly). Please send any suggestions, ideas or feedback via the Contact page.

Greeves at The NEC, November 2009 Thanks to Tim Griffin and Dave Bradley, the Club managed to put on an excellent display of bikes at the annual Classic Car Show at Birmingham’s NEC, held from Friday, 13th to Sunday, 14th November 2009. This is the second year that a hall dedicated to motorcycles was incorporated in the show and by all accounts, it was bigger than ever.

February 2006 Trials Section Newsletter This was held on the cold, sleeting and snowing afternoon of Saturday January 7th at Middleton village hall, near Tamworth, Staffs with 10 members present and two apologies received, which about a quarter of Trials Section members. This meeting was likely to be one of the most critical we have ever had regarding the future of the Trials Section for the reasons outlined in the last Trials Newsletter.

GRA Trial at Basford on 25th September 2005 This dual-routed trial took place in good weather to begin with, but a heavy shower caught out late runners and made conditions quite slippery.

Battlesbridge 2003 - 50th Anniversary Show Just what can I say? I won’t bother because no words could adequately describe the day! From an initial bright idea from GRA Chairman Colin Sparrow, through much gnashing of teeth and wailing in committee meetings to the sheer enthusiasm and stamina of the organisers on the day, it worked out beyond anyone’s wildest dreams!
